What about the nudity and stuff? If this has all been going on for years, as the article suggests, I think parents would've stopped bringing their kids. I'm not sure why children would be there anyway.

I actually tend to agree. This line from the wikipedia article did make me stop and think about it a bit, though:

If The Last Supper can be parodied by all those shows, why not these people? I dunno what to think. It's definitely touchy.

ROFL Is that Ann the Man Coulter in the SS getup behind the Black "Jesus" guy?

I prefer the take on the "Last Supper" that showed Comicus the Stand-Up Philosopher in the Background.

Actually, using the Last Supper as an art device is pretty common:

I kind of like this one best:

They bring their children to partake in the celebration of diversity. There is a lot of nudity and not by people who should be showing any skin either. They have S&M booths with demonstrations as well as leather booths and the like. It is very inappropriate for kids especially young children but there are lots of them up there every year. To understand why poeple do that you have to step out of the PC world for moment and take a serious look at how ****ed up in head many of these people are.

Agreed. If they are bringing kids to the fair they need a solid kick in the noggin or three.

That is some group of sponsors. I wonder what kind of products "Naked Sword" "Titan Man" and "Blow Buddies" make and if they are interested in advertising at Arrowhead.

This offensive drive is brought to you by "Blow Buddies".

Absolute horseshit. The gay agenda will push forward irregardless. Who is pushing for gay marriage and forced acceptance from the church instead of being happy with civil unions?

Do you really think for second the agenda will end if they were accepted by the church. Come on Zach you are smarter than this. I know you like preaching the gay agenda from Zach back mountain but don't insult our intelligence.

There is a constant push on the gay and lesbian community and I think this is a response to that.

You don't have to agree with me, thats fine. And I know you think people who don't agree with you are not smart, thats also fine.

I don't think anyone is forcing acceptance of the church. How could they? Churches are free to do what they like, they are private organizations. I have always seen this in spheres of influence. Nobody is trying to change a church's day to day...but the Slags of the world seem it is necessary to try and dictate all kinds of things to that community. It seems what you think they should "be happy" with is not the standard they adhere too.

Why shouldn't they push forward when they have been oppressed for so long?

People were making a big deal this week about the President of Iran and his archaic views on homosexuality when it was only 10 years ago in the good old US of A that a major tv character finally outed herself. There was such outrage over the fact that Ellen was a lesbian the network had to place a parental warning label on the show.

Edit:
Wait, Miller? The only people who drink Miller are homos anyway. What sort of impact are they hoping for with this campaign? Miller won't want to alienate their primary clientele.

I think it's all the talk about wanting to be taken seriously and being accepted by main stream society as being 'just like everyone else'.

Actually shit like this leads me to believe their life style is by choice.

This is a lot about nothing as I already said I think you know better.

It's common knowledge that they have been trying to push their way into many churches and pastors have lost their jobs over it. The fact that you don't acknowledge that speaks volumes.

Marriage is a religious ceremony which changes the way we look at a couple from a legal standpoint. There needs to be a seperation of church and state here where a civil union is honored as the same thing under the eyes of our government. To say no to that and force the religious ceremony of marriage to be accepted by the church is wrong IMO and creates more problems than is solves for the gay community.

It doesn't surprise me that you don't speak out against such and event either. The parade and the exposure to the kids that is.
