They've done that. They did a letter writing campaign that had all kinds of HOF'ers... Elway, Jim Kelly, etc... even Shanahan wrote a letter saying DT should be in. That was the first year he was eligible too, and it didn't work.

I'll give you 3 reasons DT isn't in the HOF...

1. He didn't win a bowl, in football being on a great team will get you in easier than being a great player, notice all the Steelers that are in and shit like that.

2. He played in KC if he had play on the east coast he'd likely be in..

3. He's dead, it hurts that he can't campaign for himself. Harry Carson essentially bitched his way in.
