Boulevard makes a corked beer. I din't catch the name of it; has anybody seen or tried this?

There's a display at the PriceCutter I go to. It was like $7.99 for a bottle. A few different ales and stouts.

Yeah I haven't tried them either ... heard good things about them. I think they are all heavier, darker beers ...

An exotic flavor of schnapps. In fact, if you find a good one, let me know, because I need to invest in a bottle. I've always liked schnapps. I want to like it more.

They've got four out that I know of and they are all good beers. A Saison, a Double IPA,Tripel and a Quadruple I believe. The Saison, Tripel and Quad are Belgian inspired beers and very nicely done.

Isn't one of them called The Sixth Glass?

I like all of Boulevard's beers except Zon.

It makes her less tense.

Here's a refreshing concoction I enjoy, especially in the summer. I'm sure it has a name but I don't know what it is.


In a tall glass, filled with ice.

Juice of 1/2 lime
1 part light rum
1 part cranberry - I like the no sugar added cranberry as opposed to the "cocktail"
2 parts club soda or tonic

Shake, drink, be happy.

Good inexpensive vodka = Sobieski or Luksusowa Vodka from Poland Smirnoff's and Tito's.
Good inexpensive gin = Beefeater's, Seagrams

Buy one of the above, get some cranberry juice, grapefruit juice (I like the red) and/or a container of orange/pineapple/banana juice. A lemon or lime, if you like. Pour a shot of vodka over ice in a tall glass. Fill with juice, garnish with slice of lime/lemon. Fill another smaller glass with ice and water, garnish it with lime/lemon, too. Enjoy your drinks. Be sure you drink your glass of water before you repeat. When I was a real drinking man, drinking water between real drinks was a lifesaver.
