Rattlesnake Nachos? :hmmm:

It's been several years since I have eaten rattlesnake. (more of a beef, moose and elk guy these days) One of the places where I go out grouse hunting, is thick with them this time of year, so when I would see one, I would make it go "night night" and take it home. If I was in the mood, I could easily get three or four along with my limit of grouse for the day. I used all kinds of different recipes, but never made rattlesnake nachos. As others have stated, rattler does taste a lot like chicken, depending on how you prepare it and which spices you choose.

Perhaps, the most dense meat/flesh in consistency ever. Just to let you know. It never fully digests in the system.

Maybe, I'm not sure, I doubt it, I don't think so.

A friend of mine was out cutting brush on his land and was bitten by a rattler. Almost died, too.

See - this is why I like MOh. He can roll around in the dirt but just when you think he's a dick he does something really smooth. I love people who own their mistakes without cheesy excuses.

I don't believe that. The part about you having a friend, that is.

Yes, perhaps "acquaintance" would have been more accurate. Husband of one of my wife's friends.

Your parents really wanted to get rid of you, eh?

Archie F. Swin 09-26-2008 06:14 PM

Christ...you've got a weed eater that will kill a rattle snake?
Shit, my weed eater is so figgin weak, the grass just collapses from laughing so hard. I reckon I'm tickling it. I bet I could diddle my dog with my weed eater

not enough time to get the light saber off the charger?

Dayze 09-26-2008 06:21 PM

Kimber?

Man....I want Kimber Ultra Carry badly;...but don't think it'll fly with the wife. I had a hard enough time selling her on the idea of getting a second pistol with the SigPro to compliment my Springfield XD-9.

I shouldn't push my luck lol

if I ever see a big A snake in my back yard, I'm shootin' it.
