Why do you really care? Did you know her as more than a casual acquaintance? If not, forget about it.

Maybe if you ever had a job, you'd know. I was close to this person, as I am to everybody else in my office. I went to her house just last saturday for a party.

Well, then it's different. Mourn her with incense.

Ok. Thought the two stories kind of....crossed paths.

Again, sorry to hear about this. It's tough losing someone that you are close with.

It's kinda sad to see how life doesn't skip a beat
as a whole when people die
then again it's also reassuring

Wow. You're in a serious mood tonight. I know, Chiefs victories spark a lot of emotion.

Dude, most people spend at least 1/3 of their lives with the people they work with.

Come on now.

Sorry I missed this Buck. That's a bad deal. I think you have to move on like you would with any other death of someone you know.

So, the one girl who was on vacation without her cell phone just came back today and she is devastated. She worked in the same department as the lady who passed away, and she's having a hard time dealing with it.

Her and I are sorta dating right now, but I'm trying to give her her space right now because of this.

Anyone have any words of advice on how I can calm her down, or should I just leave her alone until she gets over it?

After being at work for 5 minutes today, we all received the most horrible news. One of our co-workers died last night. She seemed to be in good health, and was in her 40's.

Now I cant do any work. I'm just sitting here and I dont know what to do. Has this ever happened to you before?

Prayers for the family and seeking help through the company EAP.

You're dating a co-worker? That's a recipe for disaster.

I was cooking in a restaurant 15 years ago when a waitress committed suicide. Young girl, 17. She was beautiful, smart and fun to be around. I used to do acid with her back in the day. Well one night I gave her some cash to pick me up a few hits for the next day. I never got to see her again.

Amen, don't stick your pen in company ink!
