Up yours. I take two daughters, age 11 & 10, and a son, age 7, to every home game. Foul language is unnecessary at events that are billed as family entertainment. I chhos to sit in the "Family Zone", and I've jumped teenagers and college students for using foul language in that part of the stadium. When I hear the cheer, I yell, "Rip his bloody head off" so my kids can't discern what the idiots in the student section are really yelling.

I'm sorry I see no reason for that word to be censored any more than puppies. A 7 year old can look up the word in the dictionary. Let's not pretend that kids will always be innocent and by protecting them from this chant on saturdays - that they probably can't make out unless they're right next to it or know what they're saying before - is going to keep them innocent for their whole lifetime.

Break out your dictionary and look up the words "maturity" and "civility". Set a higher standard for yourself. Be a little more creative. You don't have to use gutter language to make a point. KU is known for a recognizable, original cheer. I'd rather not be known for the other one.
