So we traded away our best D player who was 26 yrs old.

Now we are trading our sure fire HOFer on offense.

They BOTH wanted the **** out. This franchise is ridiculous.

:spock:

Jared only wanted out after Carl made it perfectly clear that he wasn't going to make him the highest paid defensive player in history. Jared got butthurt that Carl called him "a young man at risk."

Which, in fact, he is.

And Carl is being vindicated right now, because Allen got his paycheck, and is loafing through the season. He's surrounded by talent, and at this point, he may not surpass his rookie stats.

Tony wants out for selfish reasons, but I'm cool with that. It's not like he's the first player to ask to be traded for hopes of a ring.

But at the same time, Tony sure didn't have a problem cashing that $17M signing bonus check...

Uh yeah, sans the same GM that over paid for a washed out cry baby running back in LJ....

or the same guy that sold the "true fans" that Huard was our best chance to win now option....

JA wanted out because Carl is a tool, granted he got paid and is lazy now just like 99% of all the other NFL players act when they get "PAID" See LJ...

Nope Tony knows what he is doing and he is doing it well.

Sports Illustrated’s Peter King, ironically last week, identified the NFL teams with the worst records “over the past five-and-a-third seasons” and to no surprise they are the ones that continually fire coaches. Oakland has had six coaches since 2002 and Detroit, San Francisco, Arizona and Houston round out the top five teams with the worst records and happen to have had the most coaches.

I'm too lazy to look this up so please someone correct me if I'm wrong but haven't the Redskins and Dolphins had a few coaches over the last few years and haven't those teams gone on the road this year with new coaches and all but manhandled some fairly decent division rivals?

I have harder time accepting MacInsack letting guys come untouched to blow up our QB on the 2nd play of the game.

This looks a lot worse than a rebuild job to me. It looks like there's a lot of incompetency to add insult to our growing pains.

Head shot.

its not the losing that pisses me off. I've accepted(documented) that I was ready for a rebuild. I'm not ready to accept the lack of continuity in things the coach says and does, the BS being blown up our collective arses, a week after I've watched the single worst performance of this team in my recollection. I want only to see improvement, youthful energy..a reason to hope for the future.

This isn't the GM's first year....Its not even his first effing decade.

don't sell me a youth movement, and stick Sackintosh on the field, when you're saying "players can't get better without playing".

Eff Ewe Rufus.

Rufus Dawes isn't real. It's a fabricated author.

"Prodigiously well-researched, informative and opinionated, Rufus Dawes examines media coverage of the Chiefs occasionally throughout the year."
