Tony put himself ahead of the team, not once but twice. And people are hailing him the conquering hero for speaking out - not even thinking about the message it sends to a roster full of young players.

Meanwhile, there are people that want to burn Brian Waters at the stake for NOT speaking out, when he's the one taking the high road, acting like a professional, and not airing the team's dirty laundry in the media.

I'm glad Tyler called him out, and I hope the other younger players have the balls to do the same. Who wants to play with a guy who turns his back on the other 52 guys in the room?

Exactly.

Tony has given this franchise his all for 11 years. He has been a class act the whole time. He's not T.O. or any of the other pieces of shit that divide locker rooms or get into trouble everytime you turn around.

I think he deserves his shot. He will never get it now. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if he retires next year. Then we get nothing for him. If it would have worked out at least he would have helped us acquire more draft picks.

Tyler ain't done shit to call out anyone about anything, anywhere. Especially someone like TG. Tyler and others need to learn how to ****ing block and tackle before they start worrying about the Hall of Famer.

Hard not to worry about it when you have every media outlet in town asking you about it.

Gonzalez is a HOF'er, no doubt. But that doesn't excuse his me-first attitude over the past few weeks.

Leaders put the team first, themselves second.

Tyler just hasn't been around long enough to realize how much Herm and Carl have ****ed this team.

So TG says I want off this team and he's a god damn hero. A guy that shares the same locker room with him says this is a distraction and he needs to stfu and do his job. Way to take the handoff and run in your own direction.

If that guy is TG and I'm not already a Hall of Famer, I figure I'd better cut him some slack.

He just may know what he's talking about.

And he's been paid extremely well for his service.

He sure didn't have a problem being here when he was given a signing bonus check for $17M...

And he is dividing the locker room, if you'd pay attention.

Bullshit.

That sends a great message.

"Hey, young guy. If you perform and the fans love you, it gives you free reign to turn your back on your teammates..."

When the guy telling TG to STFU is one of the main players on the defense that gives up 400 yards a game I would tell him to worry about learning how to tackle.

Who the **** is Tyler to tell anyone anything? I think he should take his own advice, stfu and learn how to play defense.

The owner, the coach and the GM aren't trying to lead that team. There isn't even a freaking starting quarterback to step in.

Get off the tight end's ass.

Yeah, the locker room of an NFL team is just like the kitchen of the local
McDonalds....

Oh this is rich. Who said he is turning his back on his teammates? Who risks life and limb catching Huards 13 ft ducks over the middle?

STFU

Not that people have put him on a pedestal, but think that it would be nice to see TG end his career with a possibility of winning something.

You are blowing most of this way out of proportion, no one is burning Waters at the stake, come on, all they are saying is that Waters is a Herm "Yes" guy.

BTW, Tyler didn't call TG out what so ever, he just said it was a strange situation

Funny, considering the ONE game we won this year was because the defense shut down one of the league's best offenses.

Would it have mattered if it was Dwayne Bowe who has said it?

It still applies.

I am paying attention. He has been in the league quite a while and has never been a problem. His career is coming to a close. He is and always has been an all pro. You can try and lay the blame where ever you want. But the bottom line is Herm is tearing this team apart. He will completely lose the locker room by Thanksgiving. Anybody who is worth a shit is not going to want to play for Herm.

Shut down? 400+ yards is hardly shut down. A couple of timely turnovers and we pulled one out.

Some of us can get by in life without having a pussy spasm over what a teammate might or might not be doing. Tyler is getting paid, so again he should take his own advice and worry about himself.

And what happened to that defense againt the PISS-POOR OFFENSES of Oakland, Atlanta, and Carolina?

Oh yea, guess you missed those games heh?
