the donk fans that entertain the idea say... the reasons Shanny would go are
(1) Thigpen: Shanahan would do wonders with this kid
(2) Jamaal Charles: same thing..

Can he teach the kid accuracy?

Thigpen couldnt fall off a camel and hit sand most of the time...

Your right, Herm doesnt count... You have to interview people qualified for the position...

That automatically dismisses Herm...

ROFLROFL

I would hate that. Say what you will but if KC gets Shanny it won't be long before you realize how much you like how he runs your program,
You may never get to saying you like him but you will be glad you have him.
Shit.

Again, no one has any idea if interviewing Herm for the chance to keep his current job counts for the Rooney Rule.

Worst case, we could say F it and pay the damn fine. This is not a sticking point.

It's already been reported, I believe by Adam Schefter, that interviewing him wouldn't count.

I just wasn't aware that you could interview head coach candidates while you still had a head coach in place.

Well...at least he is familiar with our division.

...not really a fan of leftovers tho. :spock:

Quite a few actually, and we didn't still have a GM in place when those interviews were going on. As far as we all know we still have a head coach in place.

Say what? We didn't hear about any of them for sure.

It seems perfectly logical. Why would you fire someone without knowing who his replacement would be?

Exactly, which makes me question the legitimacy of the whole post.
