Agreed. Richmond Webb got all the pro bowls because no one could get to Marino fast enough to sack him. Alt was as good or better, but never got the credit for it.

Lowery was good and probably deserves to be in the Chiefs hall of fame but he also led the mutiny against John Mackovick.

Don't you remember Lin Elliot's 0-3? I'm not saying Lowery is the greatest Chief of all time. However, he was much more consistent than most of the kickers we've had recently.

I think the thing with Lowry is:

He was one of the very few shining beacons of light during a very dark Chiefs era.

Maybe he was the only offensive weapon during that era but he was certainly not a shining beacon of light.

Unless you were doing coke with him in the bathroom at One Block West.

Cherry, Burress, Ross, Lewis, Mass, Spani, Alt, Still and Barbaro should be held in much higher regard than "Nick the Miss" under pressure.

2. Nick was with the Chiefs in 1993.

3. Even if you had the year incorrect, does Nick play QB and if not, could he somehow, single-handedly score enough points to beat Buffalo in the AFC Championship game after Montana was knocked out of the game?
