I'm not a fan, but even Larry knows that he is blessed to get so much out of this one trick pony act. I have a friend that was in one of his movies and she said that he was one of the most generous and down to earth people she has met in the business. He is grateful for everything he has.

From what I've heard, even the most jaded appreciate the person.

Hacks like Dane Cook, Carlos Mencia and Larry the Cable Guy are the Bernie Madoffs and comedy and deserve none of the fame, success or money they've stolen.

Or the routines they've stolen.

I'm not a fan of any of those guys, but Carlos Mencia is the only one of those three that I've ever heard of actually stealing jokes. You can say Larry or Dane Cook sucks, but to say they stole their fame or money is asinine. It takes some serious balls to get in front of a crowd with the sole purpose of making them laugh. It's a tough racket. It may not be your thing, but to say they're stealing is just dumb.

Have they? I didn't know Cook and Larry had that label. I know Mencia did but until you guys started saying that I hadn't heard it about the other two.
