In some ways, rape is worse than murder. The victim carries the crime with her to some extent forever, and in addition to her suffering, everybody who currently or ever will care about her pays the price.

IMO, rapists should be publicly and painfully executed. Burning at the stake works for me. Nice deterrent factor there.

I prefer The Rack for scumbags like this.

The rack is commonly considered the most painful form of medieval torture. It was a wooden frame usually above ground with two ropes fixed to the bottom and another two tied to a handle in the top.

The torturer turned the handle causing the ropes to pull the victim's arms. Eventually, the victim's bones were dislocated with a loud crack. If the torturer kept turning the handles, some of the limbs were torn apart, usually the arms.

This method was mostly used to extract confessions, as not confessing meant that the torturer could stretch more. Sometimes, torturers forced their victim to watch other people be tortured with this device to implant psychological fear.

Many knights from the Knights Templar were tortured with the rack. The limbs collected from this and other punishments of the time were "emptied by the hundreds".

Sometime this method was limited to dislocating a few bones, but the torturer often went too far and rendered the legs or arms (sometimes both) useless. In the late Middle Ages, some new variants of this instrument appeared. They often had spikes that penetrated the victim's back - as the limbs were pulled apart, so was his spinal cord increasing not only the physical pain, but the psychological one of being handicapped at best, too.

Ugh. I can't imagine the pain. My thoughts are with you and your family. I hope you sister finds it within her to not let the actions of this degenerate impact her life one bit. That's a near impossible task, to be sure. Get her the best treatment you can and do everything you can.

This situation gets my blood boiling, and I don't even know you or your sister. I'll have her and the family in my thoughts.

As an older brother of a sister and father of daughters, this makes me sick to my stomoch.

Be a rock for your sister, there will be plenty of time for the other side of this(retribution).

Not much to say here that hasn't already been said, but I hope she recovers quickly. What really pisses me off is the long term mental effects, so be sure to be there for her at all times. Hope that ****ing animal is found and put to sleep in the most painful ****ing way possible.

Man doesn't sound like a first timer with an attack that violent. Hopefully the police are checking the register in your area, or a list of recently released sex offenders. That's a tough one, man.
