unless marty had convinced tim brown, jerry rice and charlie garner to play for the chiefs it wasn't happening

I am going based on memory and I remember it being a controversy and Gannon had the offense looking a lot better, that doesn't mean it was great.

I think most of the Gannon love is purely based on that SF game.

He was very good that day.

It's true he was a lot less chokey than Grbac, but in the end I don't believe he was good enough to beat Denver or Pittsburgh and certainly not Dallas.

there was definitely a different vibe with Gannon that year, even if they weren't putting up stats

A lot of it is that we were grinding out wins with Gannon and Grbac was poached ballsack in the playoffs.

Gannon had the Chiefs in the win column. Marty inserted Elvis and lost. Gannon went to the Raiders and that was that. AL got his cast off QB.

I think we get to the SB but fall to GB

It definitely looked and felt different with Gannon.

Purdy reminds me of an early Gannon.

Just enough arm, just enough mobility, and never shits his pants in big moments...

I finally took her and everyone else off ignore like 7 or 8 years ago.

Somewhere in the teens she became the least annoying person I might have to deal with in the course of a day...
