Damn, you really have some great insight there. It's gonna be really tough on you when NU loses to both MU and KU again this year. Maybe this time around Nebraska can stay within 35 points of Mizzou like most MAC teams do.

That was pretty cool when KU hung 76 points on the pinkshirts on Lawrence two years ago. And while the next year Ku went into Nebraska and kept it close. I'm expecting more of the same this year when the Cornhuskers visit Lawrence.

Nebraska fans have NO REASON to talk sh*t at the present time. Yes, I know Nebraska has a much more storied tradition than Kansas and Missouri by 100 fold. It might be wise to hold off on the shit talking until you are actually head and shoulders better than Missouri and Kansas. Nebraska Football and Kentucky Basketball fans are the same types of fans - they all want to be told how great they are even when they have fallen out of the elite tier of teams. Get back to the promise land, and then talk shit.

Mizzou fans have no reason to talk shit either, but that hasn't stopped them.

Remember that ONE year we were good? That was great!

I think Sam Hall took over Bugsy's computer.

KU has the same amount of BCS bowls as the Cornhuskers since 2001. And KU even won theirs. Then got sh*t on by the pollsters after going like a billion and 1. Everybody wrote KU off saying they had a 0% chance to win their BCS game, then they won. And nobody gave a sh*t. If Nebraska was in the same shoes they would of ended the year ranked #2.

This indicates I didn't read back far enough. Although, I doubt I'd be able to answer anything anyway. I'm curious what the questions are.

None of that matters anyway because it's all in the past. Any Mizzou fan will tell you that.

He means none of us know exactly how good any of our teams are at this point, and he's 100% correct.

The questions people had about Mizzou, KU and Nebraska before the season have not been answered by those teams.

Illinois won 45-17 and Bowling Green won 31-14. Missouri beat them both. Yesterday's game wasn't pretty, but it was impressive to see them score 21 straight when they needed it. It seems to me that we have a higher upside than any team in the North, but we also have the potential to play like a very inexperienced team at any given time. I'll take my chances on upside to win out more often than not as the season progresses.

Illini fan here, and my first point will be don't put too much emphasis on Illinois's win. We beat Illinois State, a bad division 1-AA team, and let their freshman 2nd string qb throw for over 300 against us. The Illinois secondary might be the worst group I have ever seen there, and I was in school during the 0-11 season.

With that said, Mizzou will have a pretty good season. Gabbert is a very good QB and you have a great RB in Washington.

I realized this was what you meant after I read all the way back. As much as you question people, I thought I had missed something. I'm glad I read back, though. Funny stuff.
