Illinois won 45-17 and Bowling Green won 31-14. Missouri beat them both. Yesterday's game wasn't pretty, but it was impressive to see them score 21 straight when they needed it. It seems to me that we have a higher upside than any team in the North, but we also have the potential to play like a very inexperienced team at any given time. I'll take my chances on upside to win out more often than not as the season progresses.

Illini fan here, and my first point will be don't put too much emphasis on Illinois's win. We beat Illinois State, a bad division 1-AA team, and let their freshman 2nd string qb throw for over 300 against us. The Illinois secondary might be the worst group I have ever seen there, and I was in school during the 0-11 season.
With that said, Mizzou will have a pretty good season. Gabbert is a very good QB and you have a great RB in Washington.
