Considering they have nothing else besides Zack Miller, they can bracket him with DJ and Brown or Page.

I think the Chiefs can pull this one out at home.... especially since Russell won't be killing the Chiefs downfield like Flacco did.

Well, if the 'Chargers' can't do it, no one can.

Raiders will have a short week, the Chiefs looked pretty good against the run early, and the Chiefs have last week on film.

The Chiefs should fare better against the run than the Chargers did.

BTW: The guy that was supposed to help elevate the defense, Shawn Merriman, just doesn't look the same. I know he is coming off an injury, but Tamba Hali looked better against the Ravens than Merriman did against the Raiders.

If he is the best CB in the league, then the league has taken a step backwards.

Don't get me wrong, a very good corner, but the guy has two int's in the last two years. He has 20 passes defensed over that time. That is not a good ratio.

You may not complete it to his side, but chances are it won't get picked off.

He is a very good all around corner, but I am not scared of throwing to his side like I would be against Sanders, Bailey or Rod Woodson in his prime.

I doubt it.

I wasn't impressed at all with KC against the Ravens.

As a chiefs fan, gigantus russell doesn't scare me.

Wow, you know, I didn't expect a Raider fan to be objective Asamougha.

the Talking Can 09-15-2009 07:15 AM

we'll lose by 40
won't score more than 6
and get our QB killed

just as predicted last week

They're still the ****ing Raiders. Until they can prove to the world they won't self destruct. I won't take them seriously. There has been year after year of evidence.

Yes. Russell looks TERRIBAD.

This is my reason for voting affirmative.

Russell just can't deliver the ball consistently to wide open receivers.

KCUnited 09-15-2009 07:41 AM

No. Our run D is ass and their defensive front 7 looked ferocious. Plus they played like they had an attitude that we're still trying to find.

If you have Zack Miller on your fantasy team, be sure to start him. :banghead:

(I hate that fugger :cuss: )

Pasta Little Brioni 09-15-2009 08:03 AM

We'll see. No win is going to be easy for either of those teams this year.

Home game. Crowd will be fired up for the first game of the Pioli/Haley era in the renovated stadium. They'll be jacked up!!!

All 50,000 of them?

There are still kick-ass seats available on Ticketmaster.

Not sure how this one is going to get past the blackout rules, personally.

Yep, year after year.

Like 2007 and 2008, where they came into Arrowhead and kicked our ass?
