Gotta love CP.

We've got to get to 8-8 and soon as possible so I can wear my Chiefs gear in public again!

I just don't buy the idea that Haley just doesn't like him for no reason, or that he's making an example of him at the cost of wins.

I think it's both.

I think Haley is an irrational, temperamental d!(k and DJ is an underachiever...

Would losses suck less in Haley's book if he were single, and had no family?

The guy has been a coach in this league for years. He knew the job consisted of 18 hour days, sleeping in the office, etc - and that was before he decided to shit-can the OC and take on 2 additional jobs.

He misses his family.

I miss watching good football.

Exactly, a successful run doesn't take much time at all.

It does if you don't make it in the end zone. A pass would take 6 seconds max.

Your kinda making his point, all that work and time spent to go out an lose. He doesn't like it either.

You will bitch about anything, I do mean anything, if you are going to make that statement an issue.

There are plenty of valid reasons to complain, stick to those instead of trying to twist and turn every ****ing thing the guy says into a problem.

22 guys off the street, trying to make a statement and 5 kids at home.

There you go, cliffs notes version.

He explained why he passed so much on the goal line, it made sense, you don't have to agree I guess.

Like somebody else said, we are complaining about how we score even when we do score. Silly.

No, no, He was the QB in red not blue.....

DJ is suppose to be the D team leader. Telling the media on a Wednesday he won't play on Sunday is a poor example of leadership and helps the other team. He doesn't use his head off the field any better than on the field right now.

by Haley's reaction to the Cassel questions, it looked like he was trying to ingest shards of glass.

IMO, by mid-season if Cassel doesn't get his shit together he'll be benched

Actually that's a valid defense. Nothing wrong with that at all. In fact, it's something Herm would never think of.

He was trying to win the game. It's the NFL, shit happens.

LaChapelle 10-05-2009 10:01 PM

I thought Cassel could only play from the shotgun in Patsland.

Haley just wanted to get a TD since LJ was getting met in the backfield.

If we had Ngata at nose tackle, he might be an effective starter, with Tank Tyler as the nose, he is a target.

He needs to get healthy and show he is gonna work hard enough to earn not only earn a starting job, but that his work ethic shows he is worth investing a new contract and a few more years on the field in red, otherwise we are best off spending that developmental playing time on a player that deserves it and gives us consistancy.

Somewhat accurate. You have one ILB who is more of a run-stuffer, and another who tends to be more of your coverage guy. It just so happens that he and Demorrio Williams are essentially fighting to play the same position.
