I know your right, I would just rather see a younger guy, maybe our next featured back come in and break it instead.

I was pissed when Emmitt Smith broke Walter Paytons all-time rushing record. I got over it, but Emmitt Smith is a better person than LJ also.

Stick a fork in him, he's done.

I think Charles would be the guy right now if he could hold onto the freaking ball. The guy is cat quick and super fast but he forgets about ball security too much.

When LJ first got here only Penchief and myself wanted him to replace Priest. Priest got hurt and his ypc dipped into the low 3's. LJ's was around 4.6, comparable to Jim Brown. But he had speed back then, he doesn't now. He used to be able to run sweeps and beat the LB's to the corner and turn upfield. Not any more. He's never had any moves. I've never seen him spin. He used to get to the 2nd level and run away from or over DB's. Not anymore. I don't know if it is the foot injury or all those carries that did it but he just ain't got it any more.

Its a mix of all that, but most of all, its the will to want to do good and make solid efforts.

You dont think Larry giving zero effort on 1st and 2 down leaving Cassel with 3rd and impossible on nearly every ****ing series isnt hamstringing him? Gimme a break. Yes this line is atrocious, but Larry DOES NOT TRY.

HE HAS NO HEART.

And hes killing this offense.

Tell ya what, Einstein, if you believe that effort is the problem, you go right ahead and latch on to the thought and live content in the fact that your are smarter than most football experts. I'm not sure what color the sky is in your little world but I hope it's pretty.

I live in So Cal and the sky is beautiful 99% of the time. Coincidentally, that is the percentage of braincells you lack.

Unless you have a copy of my latest CT or MRI, you have no foundation to stand on, Mr. Left Coast.

Did you even watch the game today? On one of the few runs where he got a lane to run, THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT HE DID.

How can you forget so soon.

I'll say it again. LJ is no Kolby Smith. That speaks volumes.

L.A. Chieffan 10-11-2009 08:09 PM

What?

Kolby Smith can't even get ON THE FIELD.

The amount of ignorance on this board in regards to LJ is ASTOUNDING.
