switch away from a snow game no matter how lopsided it becomes.

While watching did anybody like they gone back in time with the snow, dark sky, and old AFL uniforms and thought they were watching an AFL game from the early 1960's?

This and yes. It didn't even have to remind anyone of an early AFL game - the uniforms would have worked for the early '70's as well. All except for the refs in red stripes, which did take me waaaaaaay back...:thumb:

Oh, well. The NFL record for victory margin was a 73-0 game from 1940. I thought the Pats had a shot at it today. (Actually, if Belichick was ruthless... well, okay, MORE ruthless... they probably could've done it.)

always liked thsoe uni's.

Jonathan Kraft (the owner's son and President of the team) on a pre-game show today was talking about the throw-backs. He mentioned that the change in logo from Pat Patriot to the new Flying Elvii thing was done the year before they took over the team, by Orthwein.

If it hadn't been done, he mentioned, the Krafts would've kept the old logo. They're clearly big fans of it, as are most Patriots fans who pre-date the Parcells era.

Some of these throw back uniforms look completely absurd. The Patriots ones are surprisingly timeless, IMHO.

*shrug* Patriots offense has been a mess. Trying to have an extended, up-tempo practice here to get everyone on the same page so we can improve.

That said, he brought in Hoyer as early as he ever brought in a backup QB absent injury.

Peter's his gay brother. He gave up the Minuteman business and moved to Florida, and changed his name to Bucco Bruce.
