uhhhh, yeah. Definitely. I wanted him the last time he was on the market.

It just doesn't look like he's as fast because he's a long glider. |
I'd love to see us re-sign him, ideally a two year deal with a team option for a third, but the way he's been playing has opened eyes around the league. I fear he'll get plenty of offers from potential contenders, which could make our ability to re-sign him dependent on our willingness to overpay...

If he keeps playing like he is now, I have little doubt that Pioli would let him walk. |

I would want him back. But...does his play/numbers here in KC make him want to shop around and look for a bigger number? It's not just Clark and Scott's decision. He will want to stay at a "Chiefs" proposed number. If he is offered a lot more money by someone else he is dumb not to go, and the Chiefs would be dumb to tag him. There are teams that throw silly amounts of money at "hot" players (Redskins, Raiders etc...) and if he continues to perform at this level he will get interest from other teams.

JUST SAY NO TO MIZZOU WR'S. Will Franklin, anyone?
*chill out MU homers, I'm just ****ing with ya Anyhow, hell yes lock up Chambers. He's been a fantastic addition to our offense, and can only help to free Bowe up. Hell, it's great having two WR's that are big and physical enough to go up after the ball. I'm sure Cassel loves the shit outta Chambers. Dude saves his ass, and makes big plays. I don't know if Dez Bryant is seriously over-hyped or not, suppose we'll find out come combine time, but if we aren't going after another legit WR in next year's draft then we'll be ****ed without Chambers. |
