Stick a fork in them. |
I thought they were gonna be shit from the very beginning. They won a fluke game with the tipped pass against Cincy.
Poor ST's coverage prevented the Chargers from winning that first game. But that's part of the game I understand. My point is that DEN has greatly overachieved and gotten lucky at times this season and it's only a matter of time before they come back down to earth. They're going through a gauntlet of teams in their schedule right now, may lose the next 3 games as well. So really if you took the Cincy game as a loss, the first SD game as a loss, they'd be 4-6 right now, just a game ahead of us, and we all know how DEN craps the bed in Arrowhead. Then theyre gonna play the Giants and Colts. I bet they finish with a losing record. Kyle "Pro Bowl" Orton sucks. |

Unfortunately, I'm going to be offline for the rest of the week... traveling up to Nebraska for Thanksgiving with my sister's family. I won't have much "net" time, so we'll holler back on Sunday.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone - be safe and enjoy the time with family and friends. |

Frankly I'm still scratching my head as to why this topic is of any value to us Chiefs fans. As a Chiefs fan I would love to see Denver an elite team as long as we get to a point when we beat their tutus off every time we play them. We are down right now, but how Denver does (as long as they never go to the big dance) is not of much value to me. In fact as long as both teams are rebuilding I want them to do well enough that we pick ahead of them in the draft.

I never bought into the Denver hype, their schedule at the start was ridiculously easy. When the time came for them to step it up against talented teams, they faultered. I think this is definitely indicative of what was supposed to be a great season turned lackluster.

Things have evened out a bit, but the Broncos and Chargers have played nearly the same schedule... the Chargers have played KC once (DEN hasn't yet) and the Raiders twice (only once for Denver). Denver played the Browns and Redskins... both teams lost to Baltimore, PIT and they split their 2 games. Where was the ridiculously easy part for Denver early on? And, your last comment... supposed to be a great season? Are you talking about prior to week 1 or after week 6? |
