Cassel was FAR from being the problem today. He made like three total WTF throws, but he pretty much led the offense in a solid fashion. Minus our shit WR's.

Seriously? How often have the wide receivers had to stop on a route to wait for Cassel's "deep" ball? It really looks like it takes everything Cassel has to get the ball 30 yards (a throw that other QBs make effortlessly). Cassel's arm is below average.

I didn't see the game today. Blackout and all.... But, the stats from this game are pretty good for Cassel.

I know this thread was from last week. Of course, I felt that the criticism was overblown last week after watching the game.

But, this week, he had a good game. The problem is that the team around him still sucks.

He seems to overthrow the deep ball a hell of a lot more than he overthrows it. Like I said, I think accuracy looks to be his problem, but not arm strength.

Oh, he's wildly inaccurate, too. Whatever his faults, I doubt he goes anywhere next year but we had better be looking for a serious upgrade for the near future. I don't want this clown starting in 2011.

Cassel doesn't have terrible arm strength...he just has no semblance of touch, accuracy, or trajectory when throwing deep.

He's either rearing back and chucking it 5 yards past the WR, or lobbing a fly ball. I don't get it.
