I think Brandon Marshall is an exceptional talent. I think Jamaal Charles has helped our running attack incredibly. I think having a top 8 receiver in the NFL would do nothing but make this offense very very good. Cassel can perform with really good receivers, he's shown that.

I'm sorry you disagree.

If you want to paint yourself with that brush, be my guest.

I don't disagree that Marshall is a top tier WR,but just adding him does not make Cassel a pro bowl QB.

He's just an RFA this year, so chances are we'd have to pay out the ass to get him. My guess is that Pioli wouldn't go for it.

That said, off-the-field issues aside, he's a hell of a player - that's for sure.

He doesn't have to be a Pro Bowl QB for this offense to be very good. I think depending on someone like Charles and having someone like Marshall to open up the entire field would do wonders.

Receivers are the key to any successful offense. There's only one likely playoff team that doesn't have stud receivers.

Moss, Wayne, Vincent Jackson, Desean, Greg Jennings, Miles Austin, Larry Fitz, Syd Rice, Boldin, Ocho.

You need someone defenses fear. Dwayne Bowe isn't that guy.

I'm glad we've established that.

WR's huh? Who were the "key" WR's during Vermeil's tenure here?

Is this 2005?

Offenses are more pass orientated than ever. The NFL has changed a whole hell of a lot in 4 years.

Yeah, maybe if they'd had one they'd have won a playoff game.

You know if you really believe you are so goddamned smart and we are all beneath you,and reeruned, maybe you should get a job as a NFL HC or something.I'm sure as smart as you are, teams will be lined up,camping out on your door step for your services.
