You think that is bad - Barry didn't want Jamaal Tatum and Anthony Tollivar.

I was in Cedar Falls earlier this year, and they were excited about the team. This is a good thing.

Great things, great things.

Missouri State was the first to offer a scholarship, when Young was a junior. Young assumed the decision had been made.

"That's where I thought I was going to be," he said. "I always pictured myself being a Bear, being in the Missouri Valley playing for Missouri State. But as the process continued, coach (Barry) Hinson didn't feel like I'd developed my game to the point where I was college-ready and decided that he wanted to put a redshirt on me my first year. And I kind of cringed at that word."

Tatum and Tollivar to go along with Ahearn and company, we would have been a very dangerous team. We could have been George Mason IMO.

Then you haven't been in Iowa very much. Every time any state team has even a minimal level of success, everyone goes ape shit. There isn't really a big buzz around campus about the basketball team, just the same people that would be talking about them anyway are excited. Like I said before, I don't see them winning a game.
