The Chiefs draft will be amazingly pathetic if they don't come away with offensive linemen and WRs who can contribute immediately next season.

If the Chiefs keep delaying the building of an important component of the team's foundation on offense... which is building a strong offensive line... the Chiefs won't be contenders in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2050, 3000...

How many offensive tackles, offensive guards, or centers have won an MVP of a superbowl? How many TDs did they directly score. How many TD did they prevent the opponent from scoring? If we get playmakers, who knows, we may compete this year. We are in the AFC Worst.

It's not 1970,1980,1990, or 2000. A great Offensive line is not all that important - you can win with an average or even below average offensive line. A great franchise QB and playmakers on both offense and defense is what wins games.

While I certainly don't agree with the idiot, I also don't agree with this either.

While the Steelers won a SB with an average O-Line, and the Colts went to a SB with a slightly better than average O-Line, those are not the norm.

Your best chance of winning and competing every year is to draft playmakers and to build both the O-Line and D-line.

But it isn't necessary to spend high draft picks to build those lines.
