He single-handedly beat Arkansas last year (which wasn't that hard to do, our defense lost a few games for us), but he is scary with the ball in his hands.

I liked McCluster as our Kick returner, but with Arenas, IDK. Arenas might be better than Dexter as a returner. Atleast special teams is far from our problem now.

I could have sworn on one of those plays I saw McCluster make our #1 draft pick miss TWICE. We're doomed.

PhilFree:arrow:

I want him to wear #22

But if he is a WR he has to have 10-19 (not 16) and 80-89

BigChiefFan 04-24-2010 12:26 PM

He better be Steve freakin Smith to ignore our defense for.

Berry had the most trouble against McCluster. Watch Berry play Alabama and you will see him being a playmaker. But his game his Junior year was not the same as his Sophomore year. He was allowed to make more plays his Sophomore year.

He's proven he can carry a load, take a shot and come back for more.

True, and I'm sure he's used to it. I just imagine it's a little different when every hit is from an NFL-caliber player. I'm excited that we have two guys with lots of speed on the team now. It'll be a bit of insurance if Charles get injured.

If anyone has a chance to be....it's Dexter.

Only player in SEC history with 1,000+ yds Rushing and 500+ yds Receiving in a single year.

Also, one of only two players (Florida's Percy Harvin) to rank top 10 in the SEC in rushing yards, receiving yards, receptions and all-purpose yards

I think part of Bowe's problem last year was the fact that he got a lot more attention than he did when TG was on the team. He's a good receiver, but he can't do it by himself. He'll benefit a lot from having other playmakers on the field. I do hope I'm wrong, cause I always like Bowe. I'd hate to see him give up and do nothing all year.

You're an idiot.

Man he looks so slow (sarcasm)

aturnis 04-24-2010 01:01 PM

I'm thinking Arenas might return punts while McCluster returns kicks. That is, unless he becomes too valuable.

Arenas is the best kick returner in the country the past two years. He is y'alls new return man.

I'm telling ya, Dexter might want to return kicks, but he doesn't need to. He's much more valuable elsewhere. Just use the guy who is the best in the country at it.

Jerm 04-24-2010 01:27 PM

I'll say this...if McCluster starts to produce, I'd sure hate to be the DC that has to gameplan against him and Charles.

I've warmed up to this pick considerably.

Tits McGee 04-24-2010 01:49 PM

McCluster, is "the brown Trans Am." Did I hear that correctly?
