Yeah, yeah, yeah, and future HOFer Tim Christ takes you guys to a 12-4 record and a SB championship.

I don't really give a large rat's ass how you think the Chiefs will do this season.

Early to be predicting this, but I went 7-9, which feels a bit optimistic right now. I just have a hard time believing they won't win more than 6 this year, even though a game-by-game look has me questioning that...

2010: 9-7.

Butts in the seats in 2011.

(That's all it got.)

Bump - after the third pre-season game, anyone wish to change their predictions?

The poll has closed, but feel free to write in amendments.

Nope. Sticking with 6 wins, and I'm worried they may not get that many unless they can magically stop the run at some point.

The one team we face who's running game doesn't worry me has the QBOTFC* who can carve us up without running the ball.

I'm sticking with 6 wins, but I'm not sure how I got KC beating SF and not STL, so I'll swap those as I had to have been drunk.

I find it funny that people are claiming STL as an automatic win.

Jerome Harrison had a QB that threw for under 100 yards, and he still put up almost 300 on us.

What are people expecting from Steven Jackson?

The only run offense I'm confident we can stop is Indy's, and they don't need to run the ball.

But hey, we didn't need a NT or ILB's.

Bugeater 08-30-2010 04:17 PM

Huh, obviously my outlook has improved a bit, I only picked them to win one in this poll.

I don't think it's even close to being an automatic win, but I like the Chiefs chances for a win on 8/30/2010 better than the Rams chances for a win in that game.

This of course, is subject to change.

I know you were using my post to speak to a broader audience as I don't think there is an automatic win on the schedule for this squad, but I had them at 6 wins and wanted to keep them there. The San Fran game is an auto loss IMO and I was shocked to see my name on that one.

We're on the same page, and you're right, I was speaking to the whole, not directly to you.

Well if we have to go by what's an 'automatic win' put me down for 0-16.

Scary, isn't it?

Don't get me wrong, there's no way we go winless.

But there's not a team on the schedule I can say with certainty we WILL beat.

I changed the Jacksonville win to a loss and the Seattle loss to a win.
