Wasn't he asking for like 10 years $160 million?

 Damn; will he make pizza and beer on the sideline for the fans, too?

He got big guaranteed money, and it's really only a 4 year contract so he probably thinks he can get paid again.

I highly doubt it.

First off, he's 5'9 and not very physical.

Secondly, he's missed games because he's just not a tough, physical corner.

He's a second tier guy at best. There's nothing wrong with that, but there's no way he's EVER mentioned in the same breath as Revis or Awesome-wah.

He doesn't have the same physical stature or presence.

the only part of this post that is accurate is that he is 5'9" IMO...hold on, he is actually listed at 5'10"

23 pass defensed
5 interceptions
2 forced fumbles
2 fumble recoveries
58 tackles

He is absolutely a top ten corner in the NFL. If he was on a defense with a pass rush he might be thought of much higher...having a safety like Berry playing over the top of him should help raise his perceived value as well.

Someone hack your account man?

This deal seems really low for a guy off his ability level. There may be some behind doors handshaking going on for a future extension once they get some others locked up or something...

Do you think that Revis would have allowed a 50 yard TD pass from Josh Johnson to rookie Mike Williams in preseason?

:shake:

Take off the homer glasses.

Not a homer:

3. Kansas City Chiefs
- Starters: Brandon Flowers/Brandon Carr
- Third CB: Javier Arenas

Summary: Flowers had a fantastic rookie season and he didn't disappoint as a sophomore. If he plays that well in his third year I'm prepared to call him an elite cornerback on the same level as Asomugha, Revis and Webster. Carr is also a solid starter and is far from a weak link. Their problem last year was their nickel back. They drafted Javier Arenas in this year's draft and he will likely slide into that roll. If Arenas can learn quickly this has the potential to be one of the best young secondaries in the NFL.

Or here: Dallas writer, not a homer.

8. Kansas City Chiefs: Brandon Flowers, Brandon Carr

Flowers and Carr probably wouldn’t be on the lists of many others, but they are the most underrated cornerback duo in the NFL. Flowers in particular is already one of the league’s best.

Or here:Not a homer.

I don't think he is near being Revis but he is good enough to be considered by most as top 10 and headed up rather than down.

To say he isn't or can't be as good as Hasty is just silly and Hasty is one of my favorite Chiefs of all time.

Nice find Marcellus. Both corners graded out very well last season.
