Uh hi there doctor, do you know anything about the brand Jeep? They make something called the wrangler, also stamp something called "trail rated" on the side of a lot of their models. Might want to look into that...

Read then comprehend

Comprehend what? That the capabilities of the Wranger have nothing to do with the capabilities of the Grand Cherokee in previous years? I alread do.

American cars are a lot better than they used to be. It's not that they suck, it's just that most people buy based on value and they haven't given as good of a value for the dollar for 10-20 years. Hopefully this trend really is reversing.

I don't care about the make, I want to buy based on features and durability for the price.

Domestic makes have long neglected the space where anything that isn't a truck or an SUV is concerned.

I also am irritated that they have largely eliminated manual transmissions except on base or fleet models. The foreign makes usually still offer it.

Did you guys know that Admiral Luis Carrero Blanco was killed on 20 December 1973 while traveling in his Dodge Dart 3700GT?

Every day is precious, my friends.

leather, loaded, 4x4, everything. out the door 36.2 even with a 7 year 100k warranty. I'm good at negotiating they made practically nothing selling me this sexy ass vehicle.

Those rice burners are good running vehicles although I hear they are sometimes hard to stop.

Only if you go full reerun. :D Seriously, even if the gas cable (Or whatever was going on) got stuck, how hard is it to reach down and give the key one click to the left. The 911 call from the driver in CA, still cracks me up. That guy had a Darwin award coming his way.

Keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better.

Agreed. They havent made the car yet that you can't make stop one way or the other. Turn it off. drop the tranny by shifting into park, burn out the emergency brake while you are at it, something anything to keep from a fiery death.

They don't have the same cargo space or off-road appeal as their American counterparts but the toyota 4x4s are by and large good running vehicles.

Do you not think he got a fair deal? (I have no idea one way or the other, just asking).

I drove a Porsche Boxster yesterday. Thoroughly unimpressed.

Not say that. Just the fact he thinks they made barely any $ selling him the vehicle at the price he negotiated.
