Anyone who says Flowers is better is completely full of shit. Flowers is good but he's not that good.... no one is.

And to those that think I'm a homer, go lurk the raiderfans dot net board and tell me that again.

Yes you're a ****ing homer. Every site that does break down stats has Flowers listed as the best corner in the NFL this year by a fairly wide margin. Nnamdi got lit the **** up by Malcolm Floyd for the love of God. He's been overrated for a while.

beer bacon 11-03-2010 03:19 PM

Flowers statistically has been the best corner in the NFL this season.

Red Beans 11-03-2010 03:20 PM

Damn, the Faiders get to .500 by winning 2 in a row and the trolls come out in full force. While I'm going to support Flowers over Nnamdi in coverage, I know it's a small bit of homerism. But tell me who makes more tackles and who has more missed tackles? I don't even have the stat line, but there's no doubt that Flowers is lights out when compared to Assamaholea in the department...

uh lets wait and see.

As it is right now Qb's won't throw his way. They do throw Flowers way.

They haven't thrown at Nnamdi in years. Oh but just one thing to show you, against AZ, he was on Fitz for 7 pass attempts for 1 completion for 18 yards and broke up 5 passes. Just a small sample.

Seriously,a lot of people here are calling Raiders fans homers but if you HONESTLY believe this, you're beyond a ****ing homer.

They do throw his way, and aren't completed. And when they are its for an average of about two yards.

And you say the Raiders are going to have to win by throwing the football? I see no reason why we can't run the ball down your throats. Darren McFadden is playing like the best running back in the NFL. He won't be stopped. The one running game you played that was even comparable to the Raiders was the Texans, and Foster had a Field day, so I see no reason why we can't do the same.

And the Raiders still have plenty of options in the passing game. DHB had a big game last week. Your secondary isn't fast enough to keep up with DHB. Brandon Flowers is to slow to keep him in check all day. And a 50% healthy Zach Miller is still better than 80% of the Tight Ends in the NFL. Yes, he's THAT good. I'm sure he'll have a big day against your underachieving safetys.

I'm going to ignore most of your homer bullshit and focus on McFadden.

Arian Foster is better than McFadden. He plays on a potent offense with a great QB and the best receiver in the game right now. He's also faster, stronger, and shiftier than McFadden.

We held him to 71 yards and 3.9 yards per carry.

So yes, you WILL be forced to throw the ball on us because if you don't we will shut DOWN your overrated running game. Even if you do beat us, I'll bet we hold McFadden to under 100 yards.

Now get off our four-square court. You can go play with the other reeruned kids

Oh you... yeah, I'm gonna believe you. Nnamdi gave up two catches in the SD game I believe. Don't have the stats in front of me. Even then, he was playing zone. Nnamdi isn't a zone Cb, strictly man and he owns anyone put in front of him.

Raiders live in the past. They don't get simple concepts like this.

And then slap yourself for not realizing sooner that you should never bench Zach Miller in fantasy, especially when he's going up against a team with a creampuff secondary such as KC.

IF (and it's a big if) you are for real with this shit, you are hands down the DUMBEST mother****er that's ever graced this forum. And you will never, ever understand how powerful that statement is.

Man, this guy is a serious ball washer. Typical moronic Raiders fan.

JTagg7754 11-03-2010 03:24 PM

Let's just ASSUME Flowers is good enough to cover the oppositions number 1 the entire game.

Andre Johnson had 8 catches for 138 yards against you guys. Yeah. STELLAR GAME!
And don't try to tell me the guy is the best when he can't even cover Roscoe ****ing Parrish and/or Lee Evans.

Give. Me. A. ****ing. Break.

Homer central here.

I'm hardly moronic or a homer. Seriously. Go to raiderfans dot net and look at my posts. Same name. Tell me I'm a homer after that.
