I want to see how improved the OL is without Cassel behind center.. |

If they come out and look competent some people on here aren't gonna know what hit them. |
Palko doesn't have much to live up to. He can't be any worse than Cassel has been.
Even if he throws 5 INTs, I could care less. At least throw the ball down the field and try to hit some big plays with Baldwin and Bowe. |
Help me out here ...
Other than being a lefty, why do we hate Palko so much? And, since he's never actually seen any regular season NFL action, how do we know he sucks so bad? FAX |

Actually I am looking forward to seeing anyone but Cassel out there. Croyle, Ted White, Casey Printers, Matt Blundin, Pat Barnes, Elvis Grbac... I could care less at this point as long as it isn't Cassel. |
Well, Palko can't be much worse than what Cassel's been doing. At least there's something to watch during the game as the Patsies are plastering us by 56.

The difference is that Cassel has more pure ability. Cassel has a better arm. The problem with Cassel isn't talent, it is mechanics and ability to handle pressure. Coaching should help both of those things. Which is why he has looked like a decent QB under McDaniels and Weis.... Under Haley as OC? Notsomuch. Sorry, I know that THIS year we have Muir as our "OC", I just don't think he actually is the OC. I think he is just Todd Haley's surrogate. It will be an interesting game to watch. I am anxious to see what Palko has. I am more anxious to see who the Chiefs hire as their next coach. |
