He'd probably sew up River's labia and win 2 SB's there... |

Its hard to make that Super Bowl run with a new organization after a coach has already done it once. Cowher is going to want to dismantle the things he doesn't like, so there could be a rebuilding phase. No coach has ever won a SB with 2 different teams.

Is Cowher a better GM than AJ Smith?

LOL...Cowher.
Is he bringing Dick LeBeau with him? If not, then it's probably not a good move, but bring it on. |

NFL Championship(which is what the Super Bowl is), yes Don Shula did accomplish this. |

Norv, Jimmy Jones, and the talent they had all gelled together to create a great team. But neither Norv nor Jones were able to do dick-all without the entire package. As for Cowher, he was a damn good coach for the Steelers but the Charger organization isn't the Steeler organization. If he does end up the HC for San Diego I wouldn't take it as an auotmatic that they'll begin reeling off AFCW championships and playoff wins. It could collapse into an ignominious pile of shit similar to what happened to Jones in Miami or Norv in Everywhere he's been a head coach. So fine, bring on Cowher and his cartoon jaw. Rivers isn't just having a bad season, his career is almost over. A lot of people just don't realize it yet. |

Might happen, just doesn't seem to fit his personality... |

And another point: look what Marty did with SD. Does anyone really believe Marty is/was a better coach than the Jaw?... |

I think he likes taking the "little guy" up to the big stage. He's a Pitt/Cleveland guy. He's an underdog fan and quit in his prime "for family." I could see him taking a KC/Titans/Bucs type gig. Perhaps even a Chicago. I don't think he want's any part of dealing with what being in the NY/NE area media means... |
