Gaither isn't great, but as I have said all season, he is better than Richardson. The fact that he never got an opportunity is yet another reason that Haley should be gone.

What's the point of keeping him on the roster if the coach isn't ever going to play him anyway? He was on our roster for 12 weeks and couldn't get on the field. That decision is on Haley.

Same thing as Pioli going out and getting an upgrade at QB in Orton and Haley refusing to play him because we have Tyler ****ing Palko.

Once a guy is on the team, the coach controls who plays. Yes, that includes Cassel, Stanzi, Orton and Palko.

It is truly amazing that Richardson got the starts over Gaither. Given Muir's comments about the deal, it makes even less sense because, apparently, Gaither was in good enough shape to start for the Vagos.

He held like an anaconda the whole game, but still - Richardson has to go ... and could have gone. As usual, there's probably more to the story that we'll never know. That doesn't fix the ORT problem, though.
