And I'll see you one Charlie Weis and #1 running offense.

And the weakest schedule in history

And a leash that was wider than it was long.

So....goddamn.......tired....

Its a good old boy network, and it has been the Patriots, prior to that the Jets to some extent, prior to that the Rams etc. etc.

Until the Chiefs establish some credentials again, get used to it.

Remember when Terry Shea was hired by the Bears to bring the Chief's offense to Chicago?

At the end of the day it's about the QB.

Chudzinski looked like a bad OC in Cleveland with Anderson/Quinn, now he's a savior with Newton.

Mularkey looked bad with Buffalo, now he's a savior in Atlanta with Ryan.

Draft and develop a legit QB and just about any OC can shine.

Exactly Cassell has been forced to deal with a new OC every year, give him somebody he's comfortable with and you see what he can do.

Thanks for proving my point for me.

Molitoth 01-06-2012 10:51 AM

Cassel needs all other 10 players on offense playing well to be a "decent" QB.

I'd like a QB who has the skills to put the rest of the offense on his back and make THEM look good.
Brady, Manning, Brees, and Rodgers make no-name receivers look like Pro-Bowlers.

And again, I am all for that too. Just not in KC.

It's hilarious how wound up L.A.Chieffan has some of you.

This isn't true.

Mularky's Bills were 7th in total offense in 2004.

Chudzinski's Browns offense was 8th in 2008.

We don't have one so we'll be every bit as bad as the (in game) decision making of our HC...

because my entire life following the Chiefs they've won 1 playoff game. Thats ****ing it. Either I'm ****ing dumb for buying into the Chiefs in 1990 and following them into 2012 without a goddamn appearance into the 2nd round playoffs since 1993 post season or I'll start to recognize what really needs to happen with this team and thats draft a goddamn QB instead of hiring coaches and broke dick QB's who did keg stands at the pancake social together every year for the last 10 years as they receive paycheck after paycheck and not giving a **** about reality.

What happened the following years?

I'll tell you: in 2007 the Browns had a good offense, in 2008 they were 30th in yards, 31st in points.
The Bills fell to 24th yards and 25th points in 2005.

Get a good consistent QB.
