i've gotten to the point of "I dont Care anymore".
if Pioli isnt fired, i'll root for another team next year.

BlackHelicopters 10-30-2012 07:02 AM

Glad Cassel will be the same guy.Things are looking up.

PhillyChiefFan 10-30-2012 07:07 AM

And why, exactly, is EVERYONE not fired right now?

ChiefMojo 10-30-2012 07:14 AM

Oh if Pioli is back next year I'm rooting for someone else until he is gone. I've been a Chiefs fan since the mid-80's, but I can't take this sh*t for another year under Pioli's watch.

Clark is busy having two hour lunches with us disgruntled fans because he is so well connected to our feelings. That will tie him up for the next 7-10 years.

I still hold on to the notion that this team has a lot of talent at the skill positions. On offense we have Bowe and Charles. On defense we have DJ, Hali, Berry, Flowers, and potentially Houston.

Even assuming every other guy on this team is just a blue collar type player, the core makes this team a lot closer to good than it's current record suggests. Yes, the need for QB is glaring. But beyond that there is an overwhelming need for a coach/staff that knows how to maximize this talent.

The current coaching staff is outright incompetent. And it's not just poor game management, or bad playcalling. I honestly believe these coaches are fumble-****ing their way through every aspect of their jobs. Brian Daboll has never put out a good offense. Romeo Crennel put together 2 good years of defense in his entire career as D coordinator, and is clearly criminally in over his head as a HC.

We all came into this season expecting to blame all our losses on Cassel. And these coaches have manged to ruin the entire god damn franchise to a degree that blaming Cassel doesn't even make sense anymore.

They need to fire Pioli but the real problem may be cHunt.

I don't think Clark operates that way. Nothing is gained by that type of move beyond a small amount of fan appeasement that's quickly forgotten with the following weeks' ass kickings.

I just pray that he's digging into every resource available to him to get the right front office in place the instant this season is done.

Yep.

The Chiefs aren't any closer now to winning the Super Bowl (or shoot even a winning season) since the day Pioli was named GM. That is TOTAL FAIL. Nothing more needs to be said. He just needs to be fired.

I know Clark doesn't make snap decisions, but they Chiefs could get a jump on next season - especially when evaluating talent and draft strategy if Pioli was let go now. Especially if he could find the right GM now instead of waiting until after the season. I'm betting Cassel and Romeo are let go and Pioli remains.

So what "right GM" is unemployed and looking for a job at the moment?
