Without looking into it, I think he's old. For real. I'm not sure How much is left. A 2 yr deal fine.....but something tells me hell want 4. Just my$.02

I agree, but he's been the face of the franchise for over a decade - far and away the most popular Bear since Payton. They could have made him a one year offer that wasn't insulting and nudged him toward retirement after the season.
