It's really sad. The draft is two weeks away and I don't even give a shit anymore.

The earlier comparison between Alt and Fisher was spot on correct. I was in Arrowhead the day John Alt arrived after being drafted. Dude filled the doorway, but was thin. He was not NFL ready on the first day, but the Chiefs S&C staff got him there. We all know what he turned into and he was a DAMN good LOT for years.
Honestly, I like Fisher much better than Joeckle. |

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora is "hearing" the Chiefs will likely select Central Michigan LT Eric Fisher with the No. 1 pick if they can't deal disgruntled LT Branden Albert before the draft.
The reasoning is vague, but the Chiefs apparently believe Fisher would be better suited to the "power game" at right tackle than Texas A&M's Luke Joeckel if they kept Albert on the blindside. La Canfora had previously been adamant that Joeckel would be the Chiefs' pick. Unusual for a team picking No. 1 overall, the Chiefs have yet to be overwhelmingly connected to one player. There's still plenty of time for Albert to be traded before Thursday evening. Related: Chiefs Source: Jason La Canfora on Twitter Apr 24 - 12:11 AM |
Getting rid of a solid LT and drafting a LT does not make this team any better.
We are basically shopping out of the bargain bin again. Like we do QBs |

Goodell: "Eric Berry, come on down!" |

I watched Gruden's film room with Joeckel & thought I like this kid & Gruden really loved him. Why the Joeckel hate? |
Welp...this thread took a trip to WEIRDVILLE :)
