Vodka, Vicodin and Klonopin. Best cocktail after a hard day.

Morphine gives me nightmares like a mofo. Percocet inspires me to commit random acts of kindness.

Dilaudid though....holy ****.

LMAO you should be a test subject for the next pain killer medication. You'd be their "extreme" case subject.

I had a major surgery when I was in HS and was on that crap. It gave me horrible nightmares too...bad enough it would make me jump, which made the broken bones hurt which made me hit the morphine button which gave me worse nightmares which woke me up....which made me hit the button.

At some point around a week I remember them taking me off and switching to injection kodine and I could tell it was gone.

Anyway, we'd get several calls a month of people with "horrible tooth aches" wanting him to write them a scrip. His solution was always to tell them to "come on out to the clinic right now, and I'll fix your tooth for you" (his clinic was right next to our house). That usually separated the people with real issues from the scrip hounds. Of course, he also ended up actually having to go next door and fix people's teeth on occasion at all hours of the night.

Thats pretty much what I do as well. The script searchers usually just "can't" come in righth now for whatever reason. for them, I tell them to go to the ER.

Yet the DEA is still kicking in the doors of LEGAL marijuana dispensaries.

Thanks Obama!

The Bush administration did the same thing.

I've been given morphine several times for post op from shoulder surgeries and once when I was in the hospital after the cottonmouth bite on my foot. Both times it put me to sleep and then when I'd wake up, I'd think it'd been several hours, because the pain was unbearable, and look at the clock and it'd be like 7 minutes later. Couldn't wait to push the button to kill the pain. Then they'd give me vicodin when I was discharged, but I just took ibuprofen and threw the vicodin away. I don't like feeling sleepy unless Its time to go to bed.

Addiction occurs when more and more chemical is needed to achieve the desired results. Sometimes the amount needed to achieve said results culminates in death.

went in the hospital w/a ruptured appendix. took it out. next day they opened me up again and had to pull all my guts out and wash them(gangrene). guts all shut down, so they put a tube down my nose to suck anything that went down into my stomach out.

docs said that as soon as I could start ripping farts, i'd be ok...it took awhile. I kept a pen and notepad next to my bed just to keep count. like I said, not much to do.
