It's not too difficult folks, he was drafted to play LT but only placed at RT when they failed to trade albert. What sucked is Stephenson was much more qualified to start at RT but they threw fish out there anyway to get him experience.

But here we are, maybe looking at a RT @23 when again Stephenson is better qualified to start there. I just hope that's not the case come May.

But you're saying Fisher should be the backup behind the guy who earned it? I personally don't think it's a good idea to keep having both flip flop between left and right tackle. They should be allowed to get comfortable at one position.

I think Fisher is a better fit at LT than RT. He's not a mauler like you want at RT. He's athletic and more suited to go up against the speed rushers he will usually face on the left side.

Just my opinion.

If he still sucks ass in preseason or TC then by all means Stephenson should get a shot instead.

This. And it is damn frustrating. Stephenson did a fine job filling in last year. I'd take fine over what Fisher did at RT last year.

Then you've completely wasted the #1 pick.

Drafting a T at 1.1 is enough of a waste as it is.

Sooooooooooo

Fisher - Allen - Hudson - Linkenbach - Stephenson

Did you guys really think he would not get every opportunity to be our LT?

I expect him to win the job, and do well. He has all the talent in the world. No reason he can't make use of it.

He will most certainly get plenty of chances to be exposed. Better be on his game.

Excellent place for a T taken #1 overall.

So his position is a birthright?

That's how you build a winning team.

Don't think he has to worry about getting exposed...

Lol, no shit. Fisher was drafted at 1.1 to be the LT, he is going to be the LT.

Any argument to the contrary is hilariously ridiculous and is only being made to be argumentative.

There is no downside to this move. You have to see if he is the player you thought he was when you drafted him.

I don't think they should flip flop either.

Stephenson is the LT, Fisher is the RT.

Pretty simple.
