I'm praying we don't extend Smith. It was a mistake to pay what we did for him in compensation, just admit that mistake and move on after this year. Unless he all the sudden becomes a QB without his obvious limitations. That's not happening.

You pay the QB - always.

Smith is Reid and Dorsey's boy. They chose him. Pay him and build the team around him and if it fails over the next 3 years blow it up and start all over again.
