This place is more like the older dwindling church that doesn't change with the times instead of evolving to include "quickies for convenience" for the younger ADHD generation.

1.) Real time post updates suck

2.) The newer versions of vBulletin are terrible. The original company was bought out by Internet Brands, most of the original software geeks left, and the last couple of versions have been dogshit. Here's an article on it, in case you're interested:

If that specific feature is a popular request, it could probably happen. There are a handful of "like" mods out there, though someone would need to dig into them and see if any are very good.

Anyone wanting to check out mobile, use the mobile site, NOT the mobile view setting in user pref's. I think a mod is required to get you back to normal view on the full site.
