Don't like Josh Shaw at all. He's has a hard time getting his head turned around all day.

Dezmin Lewis is someone I wouldn't mind spending a mid-round pick on. Elite size and catch radius with enough speed and quickness. Great body control and ball skills.

He also didn't play football for the entire 2014 season.

Shaw seems more like a hybrid safety corner guy anyway

He turned his head around nicely on that go route coates ran and got his hands on the ball.

@NFLDraftWRoom: Garrett Grayson is clearly the #2 QB in this #NFLDraft

Saccopoo 01-24-2015 07:09 PM

TCU's CB Kevin White looked good.

The Mighty Mouse thing for Nelson was stupid. 5'10" isn't that short for a corner. Mark McMillian (the real Mighty Mouse) was 5'7", iirc.

Guys I liked from the game (not spending time looking up names):

the G from Hobart
the G from Duke
both d tackles from Iowa
the RT from Wisconsin
the WR from UCF
WR Lockett
pretty much all of the RBs with Abdullah, the kid from UNI and Varga as top
CB Nelson
Orchard from Utah
the TE from Delaware was ok though had a couple of drops

Sims might be an interesting development guy you could sit behind Smith for a couple of years. It would depend on if he can improve his accuracy. It was hard not to thing Russel Wilson while watching him today.

Doesn't matter... the best QB in this draft would not be a top 15 pick in the past 3 drafts. If you want to get a 1st round QB, this isn't the season to do it. Better off looking for a project deeper in the draft.

Bullshit. Winston is a top 5 pick in any draft

I don't know man...there's something about the way that he throws that really bothers me. The ball comes out poorly from a rotational perspective. He's got plenty of arm, but he just doesn't throw it well.

He's also really bouncy in his drop backs. His feet are just all over the place. He does set up on his throws though.

Honestly, he reminds me of a stronger armed Mark Sanchez at the same stage.

The guy has been able to get away with some flaws because he's been playing behind a bunch of NFL linemen and some ridiculous skill position players at the college level.

I'm not entirely sure he translates as well to the NFL as some people think.
