I can see where he is coming from though, in the short backstory monologue he doesn't mention going back in time or Army of Darkness at all.

I thought it was kind of implied, especially because of the doll scene, as he knows the evil likes to get into miniature form already.

Just like AOD, he learns from his previous experience in ED2 about the possessed faking death etc etc.

Exactly, Rami has said it is a sequel. Just limited on references to AoD because if licensing.

watched first episode. really liked it. not sure this is a sustainable premise as it seems it'd be the same thing over and over....but then again I said the same thing about The Walking Dead.... ROFL

oh...also....watched Evil Dead last night. I almost never watch that one because I've deemed it super inferior to ED2 and Army Of Darkness. (I'll be re-watching the other two soon) I was surprised.....it isn't as terrible as I remembered.
ED2 though....that's my shizzle.

I went as Ash for Halloween. Plastic shotgun with fake shells, and a fake chainsaw on my hand.

This girl said "you're the good guy from Army of Darkness"

Can't believe I haven't seen this. Dying to watch it. I let my VPN go a lil while back since I have moved away from my shady interneting so I can't even jack it.

Anyone know where I can watch this?
