The point was that Oakland is overrated. So are the Jets, BTW. There's a lot of football left to be played.

Oakland has won only 3 games with at Pittsburgh, at Denver, Green Bay and at KC to worry about.

The Chiefs 3 wins are against a bad Houston team, a Steeler team playing with their 3rd string QB, and quite possibly the worst team in the league.

When you go homer, you go full Captain Homer.

All I'm saying is that IF the Chiefs continue to play like they did today and last week, they have a shot.

Their schedule is far from daunting and the rest of the AFC field, outside of Cincy and Denver, is average to below average.

I assume you mean ne and cincy.

And fwiw, the way big ben played today we would have been better off had he played last week.

I am not optimistic, but I will say that if this line can continue to improve and start to get some continuity, then there is a chance.

I also think that it's time to start Conley after the bye.

Yeah I was surprised Conley didn't earn more playing time after last week. Even when we got up big he didn't really get in until the very end.

Ridiculous..hope is beginning to come back. There's a good chance the Chiefs are just playing though. Hope = Heartbreak. Better than nothing though.

Yea I like Wilson, but he should be our slot guy. I would prefer to have Conley's size out there and he's a better fit accros from Maclin (especially with Alex at QB).

TigeRRUppeRRcut 11-01-2015 06:24 PM

Leveon is injured. I'd say 50% chance if we beat Denver coming out of the bye.

Pitt Gorilla 11-01-2015 06:26 PM

We're a couple of incredibly stupid collapses from being 5-3.

that was my one issue today. Wish he would've been involved.

Hell, win the rest of them and get a wild card for all I give a ****.

But if they don't draft a QB, it's sweet freedom for me. If they do, the Chiefs are actually worth something in life.

WIN/WIN.

Sweet Daddy Hate 11-01-2015 06:45 PM

By the by, pithy, insignificant MU has no effect on me if I so wish to express my supreme righteousness.

It just takes patience.

And as a 25 year follower of this never ending, mediocre bag of shit franchise, I have patience in SPADES.
