Sorry, I don't think it's funny. It's not being "self serious." A Chiefsplanet member had a significant fire at his home. He can't live there anymore.

If this were some beloved member of this board, people cracking jokes right now wouldn't be accepted.

Inmem is a human being, a husband, a father. I think when someone suffers a tragedy - and the loss of a home to fire is tragedy in my book - you don't crack jokes.

When the fire is completely their fault and was 100% preventable and we know everyone is safe, jokes are fine.

The first place I turn in times of real tragedy is CP.

Fire department arrived , soaked the shit outta his computer and left. Mission accomplished.

Dang. I don't know much about barbecuing, but I'm pretty sure that's not supposed to happen. I hope that everyone is okay and you've got insurance.

Well what a ****ing mess. The fire didn't travel through any other apartments nor did we lose anything. Most of the damage is in the attic. What a **** up day. Thank you FMB for your support and kind words, you are an awesome guy. Everything is moved out with the help of several family members and friends.



BTW I hope we get our cleaning deposit back.
