This is the most hilarious explanation of a drunken tailgate I've ever heard. Yes the people are largely tanked and loud, but they're not going to kill you. Unless you climb into their 99 Grand Cherokee - then you're pretty much asking for it per that CP thread. |

I get it - my family had season tickets from 1994 - 2011. I guess I just felt like the situation had gotten exponentially worse since I had regularly attended games. On the other hand, maybe I was just wasn't as desensitized as I was previously. |
Too bad the Chiefs dont put in the same effort to improve the team as they do the parking

I told myself I would buy tickets again regularly once they won a playoff game, then they go and Chiefs things up! |
Uber it is, then. I have frequently gone to the downtown hotels and shared cabs with out of town fans too, since I generally don't tailgate unless it is a prime time game.
Tip if you want to use the non arrowhead lots and not tailgate, coming from town, pass Blue Ridge Cutoff, exit at Sterling, circle back on Hwy 40 and you skip the entire 435 to 70 exchange back up. I've been pretty happy in the church lot for 20 bucks. The subway one was difficult to get out of at the end, but the church one is always a breeze. |
The $30 parking pass that is bought online also comes with a $5 fee unless you are a Jackson county resident.
