It has been suggested on here several times-make him a slot receiver. I think he would be a huge weapon there. Give him a few yards of daylight and he could go all the way. He has always had good hands. JC, Maclin, Hill, Kelce, Conley-with Ware in the back field. That is a lot of weapons. |
Charles was a 4.3 guy in his prime. I still think he's a 4.4 guy with the decline.
Get him back next year and the screen game is infinitely better. Just imagine him and Hill together |

What world do you live in where players getting ready for a playoff game are concerned with Jamaal updating fans on his future on his web sight? Its not a distraction, issue or problem of any sort. I am certain ts already been discussed here 1,000% more than anywhere else. Do a google search and see whats popping with Jamaal. https://www.google.com/webhp?sourcei...jamaal+charles Whether or not Houston is fully healthy is a much bigger distraction to the team than JC is. |
Jamaal Charles update...(long read)

I like his heart, but we shouldn't count on him. We need to add another weapon back there, since it's unlikely he will be staying healthy and/or anywhere near what he was.

his ass is sooo cut.
|
It does sound a bit desperate. I get it, but it still sounds desperate. Perhaps he could cut a deal that'll allow them to buy some insurance.

I really hope Jamaal is offered a reduced deal and he takes it.
I'm gonna be sad if His career in KC ends by being hurt all 3 career playoff games. Just once, I'd love to see him run wild in a playoff game. He deserves it. |

The details of the game are foggy for me now, but he didn't see much or any action in the second half. I can't remember if Haley just ignored him completely or the Ravens started to blow us out so we stopped running the ball. |
I think we have beaten this to death and all agree- he comes back on a much reduced contract or else we have to cut him.
Does anyone disagree? |
