I believe he can still be close enough to his old self to make that worthwhile, he is an outlier physical specimen like Adrian Peterson... another very productive season or two isnt out of the question IMO

Get well, JC!

30 year old RB's with two major knee injuries generally don't go back to their younger form.

I didnt say they do, I said he will probably still have enough left to make it worthwhile to have him back

Personally I don't want to see JC take a pounding at the RB position.

It has been suggested on here several times-make him a slot receiver. I think he would be a huge weapon there. Give him a few yards of daylight and he could go all the way. He has always had good hands.

JC, Maclin, Hill, Kelce, Conley-with Ware in the back field.

That is a lot of weapons.

Charles was a 4.3 guy in his prime. I still think he's a 4.4 guy with the decline.

Get him back next year and the screen game is infinitely better. Just imagine him and Hill together

This is the reason teams don't allow injured players to speak to the media... it creates an unnecessary distraction.

He didn't speak to the media. There is zero distraction.

What world do you live in where players getting ready for a playoff game are concerned with Jamaal updating fans on his future on his web sight?

Its not a distraction, issue or problem of any sort. I am certain ts already been discussed here 1,000% more than anywhere else.

Do a google search and see whats popping with Jamaal.

Whether or not Houston is fully healthy is a much bigger distraction to the team than JC is.

I like his heart, but we shouldn't count on him. We need to add another weapon back there, since it's unlikely he will be staying healthy and/or anywhere near what he was.

his ass is sooo cut.

GloryDayz 02-20-2017 08:32 PM

It does sound a bit desperate. I get it, but it still sounds desperate. Perhaps he could cut a deal that'll allow them to buy some insurance.

He'd be better on one leg than those turds in pile high

BossChief 02-20-2017 09:39 PM

I really hope Jamaal is offered a reduced deal and he takes it.

I'm gonna be sad if His career in KC ends by being hurt all 3 career playoff games.

Just once, I'd love to see him run wild in a playoff game.

He deserves it.

He played the entire game against Baltimore, unless I'm mistaken.

Averaged like 10 YPC, IIRC.

The details of the game are foggy for me now, but he didn't see much or any action in the second half. I can't remember if Haley just ignored him completely or the Ravens started to blow us out so we stopped running the ball.

scho63 02-21-2017 09:51 AM

I think we have beaten this to death and all agree- he comes back on a much reduced contract or else we have to cut him.

Does anyone disagree?
