If it's a fair contract that is just more than the Chiefs are will to pay, then the 2 teams will likely negotiate a trade for less than 2 first rounders. If it's a dick move then the Chiefs can just flip them the bird and demand the full tag trade value. I don't think there is anyway a team will give up a huge contract and 2 first round picks for any safety. So it will have to be a mutually beneficial agreement for all parties. |
