I'm very afraid of this. Or Oakland.

Do we really trust that DJ will stay healthy and that Ragland will hold up? I mean, we're all in right? And if for no other reason than to keep him off a roster like NE/Pit/Den?

KPL has looked very good so far. In fact, I think he's our best LB at this moment.

Guy has the same athleticism and strength as DJ used to and he's a solid tackler. I would not be surprised if he's our future at ILB.

Pass

He is no where close to being done. I watch the niners every week, he was getting fewer snaps last week but he's looked good this year.

Unless he takes over JDR's job...it wont matter.

Bring him in. Great player, great leader. Perfect in the 3-4.

This. If the Chiefs can grab him, it would be a fantastic add. I'm shocked the niners let him go. He's a fan favorite and they don't have many of those.

Bowman would be an instant upgrade over Ragland, but the team isn't in a position to spend money on a rental at ILB.

They could, depending on his asking price.

Three days ago Shanahan was insisting he was still the starter.

I get the impression that he was put on the block, took it personally, and refused to practice or suit up for the team.

Could be he refused to kneel.

Armstrong is ready to take the Will spot and they want their first round rookie MLB Foster to get playing time. Bowman is on the last year of his contract and their season is already over. They tried to get value out of trading Bowman, but he didn't want to play for the only team looking to trade, so Lynch did the stand up thing and released him.

It’s crazy that we are so stacked at even positions like ILB that KC should pass. On Bowman based strictly on talent and development.
