At this rate he'll finish the season with ZERO catches for ZERO yards and ZERO touchdowns. The verdict is in. Jon Baldwin is a better WR. Grab your pitch forks boys we're storming arrowhead at dawn!

This is a unique situation. You have a WR in an offense that is by all accounts very difficult to learn at that position playing with a young/new QB who he’s trying to get on the same page with. And he could also be dealing with a hip injury that he’s trying not to aggravate. I’m not saying it isn’t a little bit concerning, but the overreaction is absolutely absurd. |
The same people saying we should’ve gotten a corner would be bitching about Trumaine Johnson, Kyle Fuller, or whoever getting burned in TC/preseason.
Did you people not see Kyle Fuller get abused by Emmanuel Sanders? I’m not implying those guys are going to suck or wouldn’t help, I’m just simply pointing out that you’d be bitching right now either way. Those guys are not shutdown corners. Kendall Fuller is way better than any of the FA corners in 2018. Be happy we at least got him. |
Who's bitching? We can't discuss that our big time free agents has underwhelmed thus far in the preseason?
|
I'd also say Trumaine is about as close to a shutdown corner as you're gonna get in free agency, and he cost 75 million. **** that noise.

I personally am not worried yet but I don't think some concern is an over-reaction. |

Never mind, my questions and comments were covered in some later post.

There were a couple of corners you could have signed for that money sure, but I dunno what that really does.
I think a better argument would have been to spend it on a few DL maybe. |
More importantly they need to develop some of their own CB's and DL that aren't costing free agent dollars.
