I'd rather go this far....

Niemann will be an improvement to the ILB depth, will get some productive snaps and make more positive plays than not when he's in the game.

If Ragland is nursing a knee or whatever his issue is that has resulted in his regression, Niemann can do an acceptable job in that spot if needed. His ceiling is taking the position as his own.
I definitely think he's better than Smith or will be with some game reps.

I think it's interesting to note that now that Peters is gone the Chiefs have been moving their corners around.

Not sure if this new development has anything to do with Peters, but interesting still.

Sutton did that to essentially make the field cut into half - now he's like '**** it - we can't cover shit, either way'
